development of
Honeywell's next generation (product) by designing, testing and
validating
products/processes from prototype to market. You will be part of a
group of
highly committed professionals who provide expertise to ensure the
success of
complex engineering projects and programs while acting as a mentor
to more
junior engineers. You will interact with internal and external
customers in
order to facilitate the completion of products to customer
specifications.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- The candidate will be responsible to work with a team of
engineers in the design and support of hardware for space
application, supporting ongoing production and new business
activities related to Honeywell's Momentum Controls Systems product
lines.
- The position involves design, modification, and test of analog,
digital, and power electronic circuits for space applications and
authoring of related technical documentation
- Candidate will be expected to provide written reports and oral
presentations to program or engineering management and customers to
explain technical approaches and project status.
- Leading program efforts through the entire life cycle:
proposal, design, build, test, and on-orbit support
- The incumbent must be able to accept work assignments and
perform tasks with minimal oversight. --
- Ability to work effectively with other organizations and
individuals at all levels.
- Demonstrated experience working as a member of a team and must
adapt well to a changing environment.U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS Due
to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations,
candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S.
citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the
U.S. under asylum or refugee status.YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor of Science of Science degree in Electrical
Engineering.
- Must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the electrical
engineering field.
- Familiarity with modeling tools such as P-SPICE and
MATLAB.
- Due to program requirements, candidates must be a U.S. Citizen.
Dual citizenship is not allowed.WE VALUE
- Expertise in Analog Circuit Design and Worst Case Circuit
Analysis (WCCA)
- Experience with power supplies, motor drives, feedback control
loops, and embedded digital controls is a plus
- Strong electrical design and analysis capability along with
good communication skills.
- Comfortable working on hardware in a lab environment, and
directing the work of other engineers, technicians and
designers
- Capable of troubleshooting problems and leading failure
investigations
- Fluent in Microsoft Office tools, Word, Excel, Project, Visio,
and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with modeling tools such as P-SPICE and
MATLAB.
- A basic understanding of Spacecraft hardware including Momentum
