opportunities!Job Description SummaryPosition Objective: This
position is responsible for supervising and assisting the tent
installation crew. The work is very physical and demanding,
requiring both strength and stamina. The person in this position
will be responsible for helping customers and delivery personnel
load and unload vehicles. They will also help assemble tent and
rental accessories. Shipping and receiving functions, from light to
heavy, will be required as well as inventory and some janitorial
responsibilities. They must be able to apply logical thinking to a
wide range of problems, collect data, draw conclusions and offer
constructive options.Position Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage all the employees on the team to the
proper and safe assembly and/or removal of the fabric structures
and rented accessories per manufacturer, company, safety policy and
procedures
- Supervise, administer, and oversee the training of new
employees
- Manage the crew's production during the job and maintain the
responsibility for on-site coordination of the job. Coordinate each
employee's tasks and determine the proper technique to complete the
work
- Handle and document all employee complaints and coordinate with
the Construction Manager to properly resolve the complaint
- Planning - pre plan for each job by attending the handoff
meeting (if Possible) and coordinate safety training for all the
installers if needed
- Hold installers accountable to maintaining a clean vehicle with
organized equipment and meeting all DOT requirements
- Maintain open communication with Operations Manager
- Track and set the workhours for each of the installers for each
jobsite
- Meet client on-site to identify location of any underground
systems such as power, water, etc.
- Coordinate with sales staff and operations on location of tent
installation.
- Review and confirm measurements and understanding of the size
of the structure and the accessories per diagram
- Be aware of weather conditions at job site and instruct crew to
dress in the appropriate uniform
- Know specifics and applications of rental inventory, so you can
answer questions on delivery
- Make certain that each employee is instructed in proper and
safe use of the equipment and demonstrate operation when
necessary
- Oversee temporary labor on-site
- Assign daily tasks to temporary labor and tent crew
- Oversee proper loading of truck on site
- Coordinate pickup and delivery schedules
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, rules and
regulations in written or verbal form
- Talk to Fire Marshall and/or building inspector if
necessary
- Produce fire retardant certificate if necessary
- Report installation completion to Sales Representative and
Operations Manager
- Oversee the maintaining of tent/job after installation and
adjust per weather conditions
- Comply with government safety regulationsRequirements:Education
& Experience:
- Must have high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must maintain a valid driver's license
- Must be able to lift approx. 70lbs
- Must be able to use mathematics to solve problems
- Must maintain a professional appearance with clean
uniforms
- Must be able to speak English and write legibly
- Must pass company drug screen
- Must maintain an acceptable attendance record
- Must have full range of motion and dexterity.
- Must be able to provide, understand and complete instructions
furnished in written, oral and scheduled form
- Maintain a cooperative working relationship with
co-workers
- Must display a high level of initiative, effort and commitment
towards completing assignments effectively
- Must be able to maintain a high degree of patience and offer
constructive criticism when necessary
- Must have at least two years of related experience
- Must possess customer relation skills
- Travel at least 80% of time* Please note that this is a
traveling position. Open to candidates in any state.Base Pay Range:
$76,442.00 - 90,775.35Starting rate of pay may vary based on
factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location,
