Responsibilities

Position Summary: This position is intended to help perform field work related to facility and equipment issues at all CAPS pharmacies. Performing this function increases the effectiveness of the department by ensuring that the pharmacies remain in physical compliance to requirements and that any required work is done sooner. Responsibilities: Essential Duties

  • Design cleanrooms, equipment, and facilities
  • Implement improvements to pharmacies
  • Project management of new facilities and facility improvements
  • Examine pharmacy equipment and facilities for wear and function.
  • Initiate repairs and maintenance to facilities and equipment
  • Research alternate methods and equipment needed at each pharmacy
  • Perform on-site repairs to facilities and equipment whenever possible
  • Under the direction of the manager, hire outside contractors for performing local service at the pharmacies
  • Procure replacement equipment
  • Supervise work performed by contractors at each pharmacy
  • Travel to pharmacies to perform or aid in the completion of projects
  • Respond to and perform requests for service and equipment from pharmacies
  • Provide feedback and status of on-going projects to manager
  • Initiate projects to correct deficiencies noted in the field
  • Research and implement cost improvement projects
  • Assist other departments as needed to meet company priorities
  • Coordinate, lead, and monitor projects to desired outcome, as assigned by the Facilities Manager.The job function listed is not exhaustive and shall also include any responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor from time to time.         • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
        • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
        • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
        • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
        • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
        • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
        • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. The targeted range for this role takes into account a range of factors that are considered when making compensation and hiring decisions; included but not limited to: skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The range provided is a reasonable estimate. #ID#LI#EL

          Target Based Range

          $63,302 - $81,628

          Qualifications

          Expertise: Qualifications -Education/Experience/Training/Etc Required:
          • Bachelor's degree (B.S. Engineering) from four-year college or university and 2-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of 10 years of education and experience.
          • Autocad
          • Microsoft Office including Project for WindowsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. .
