Job Description:
Job Description The Principal Contract Administrator will assist
contracting activities for the Protection Systems Programs at our
Phoenix, AZ facility. As a Principal Contract Administrator you
will;
- Direct various contracting activities such as solicitation
reviews, proposal development and submittal, negotiations and
contract execution, including monitoring hardware and data
deliveries.
- Use strong analytical techniques, critical thinking, and the
ability to act as a trusted business advisor to a cross functional
team including Program Management, Finance, Engineering, Pricing
and others.
- This position is a hybrid position requiring at least 3 days a
week in the office.
- The schedule is 9/80 with every other Friday off. Required
Education, Experience, & Skills
- BS degree with 6+ years relevant experience required
- Major defense article acquisition and production contracting
experience
- Highly developed critical thinking and communication techniques
with experience to influence and shape favorable business
outcomes.
- Excellent communication, presentation, team-building and
leadership skills, with the aptitude to perform in a complex
cross-functional business environment.
- Excellent writing skills is a must, with the knowledge of how
to write clear and concise reports, business correspondence, and
policies/procedures.
- Knowledge of how to effect and manage change (both
organizational and contractual).
- Cost type and Fixed Price Contract experience
- Functional knowledge of FAR/DFARS regulations
- Experience with intricate contracts and proposal preparation
and execution
- Aptitude to interact professionally and effectively at all
levels of the organization
- Knowledge of how to read, analyze, and interpret general
business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures,
solicitations/RFPs, or governmental regulations.
- Strong business acumen and experienced in risk
management.Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Experience on a large production or supply contract
- Certification in contract management
- Master's Degree/MBA/JD a plus Pay InformationFull-Time Salary
Range: $87700 - $149100Please note: This range is based on our
market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined
by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business
considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as
well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and
