Job Description:
JOB TITLE: Electrical Technician SUMMARY: Electrical Technicians
are responsible for turning on and turning off electrical equipment
or system installations. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with electrical systems including high, medium, and low
voltage such as LSS, I&C, power distribution/generation,
etc.
- Conduct electrical system walk-downs, installation verification
to requirements of all drawings, P&ID's, specifications,
submittals, specific system and prerequisites
- Document any errors and corrective action required and notify
the construction team via field work reporting
- Work with and communicate effectively with subcontractors,
superintendents, office staff, engineering staff, consultants, and
owner's representatives to facilitate project activities
- Represent company in project meetings and attend strategy
meetings
- Preparation and field execution of startup checks, including
responsibility for verifying that the startup documents have been
fully executed and signed off
Requirements:
- Minimum 5+ years verifiable electrical experience (Journeyman
level)
- Five to ten years related experience in the construction
industry; or equivalent combination of education and
experience
- Experience with high, low, and medium voltage- transformers,
substations, switchgears etc.
- Knowledge of relevant Codes and Standards (IEEE, NEMA, NFPA,
NETA, OSHA) COMPETENCIES:

- Must be able to wear personal protective equipment, including
protective eye wear, hard hat, lab coat, gloves, steel-toed shoes,
hearing protection, and respirators.
- Must be able to safely access and traverse indoor and outdoor
obstacles for site inspections, including climbing ladders, walking
on stairs, catwalks, and other types of uneven surfaces where
