Job Description:
A company is looking for a Psychiatric Consultant, MD to support
the behavioral health needs of patients in a Collaborative Care
Model.
Key Responsibilities
Provide psychiatric consultation to primary care providers through
systematic case reviews
Suggest treatment plan changes and document recommendations in the
electronic health record
Educate primary care providers and Collaborative Care Clinicians
about mental health disorders and treatment options
Required Qualifications
MD or DO Psychiatrist with a license in good standing, currently
licensed in MA & PA
Preferred licensed in CA, IL, & SC
Experience in treat to target models and Collaborative Care
model
Subspecialties in child/adolescent psychiatry, perinatal/women's
health psychiatry, and addiction psychiatry are highly
desirable
Experience practicing in primary care or integrated care
settings
