do:We are seeking a talented, experienced, entrepreneurial-minded
individual who is passionate about creating best in class product
management experiences to join the Western Alliance Bank Product
Management Team in the role of Card Product Analyst. The Card
Product Analyst assist the Card Team Leader and Card Product
Managers and executive management in executing all phases of the
product life cycle from product concept, business case development,
product development and product introduction to marketing,
performance management, measurement, compliance and reporting.
Research, analyze and evaluate internal and external data and
product performance for assigned products. Serves as liaison on
behalf of assigned product teams to operations, vendors, finance,
data governance, audit, technology, marketing, IT and senior
management.What we are looking for:
- Develop, manage and analyze reporting of key Card product
metrics including revenue and interchange, transaction volumes,
pricing, trends, profitability, service quality and other key
measurements throughout all aspects of the card product lifecycle
via multiple card reporting systems. Aggregate data and present to
senior leadership.
- Assist the Card Product and Operations team in assessing market
needs, building business cases for new product concepts and
enhancements, designing and developing new products, ensuring
product compliance with policy and applicable regulations,
communication and training, management of third party systems and
creating and reporting management metrics for assigned
products.
- Participate as a member of the product team. Fully engage in
the product development process, adhere to project management and
product management communication standards. Function as a subject
matter expert on assigned projects in support of internal and
external partners.
- Constantly strive to make a difference, with particular focus
on meeting customers' needs. Stay well-connected to internal the
lines of business and their respective client bases through
periodic participation in Sales meetings and in actual client sales
calls.Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree
in Business Management as a minimum. 1-5 years of experience in
banking, financial services. Equivalent combination of experience
and education acceptable.
- 1-5 years of experience in Banking, Treasury Management, Card
Services/Card Issuance and/or Product Management/Development
background strongly preferred, with the ability to concurrently
manage and assess broad strategies and execute against multiple
priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced and growth
environment.
- Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Detail-oriented, with ability to influence, collaborate and
communicate across all levels and lines of business, internal
resources and external vendors.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in excel and tableau, computer
terminal and personal computer operation; mainframe computer (ITI)
system; word processing, spreadsheet and account opening software
programs (e.g., Microsoft Word and Excel, Outlook, etc.). Project
management processes.
- Ability to travel 2-3 days per month required.Benefits you'll
