Job Title:LFI Business AnalystLocation:CityScapeWhat you'll
do:The LFI Business Analyst will be part of a team within Business
Data Governance to prepare for Large Financial Institution (LFI)
status and will be responsible for supporting the organization by
gathering, analyzing, and reporting on key business data. They must
possess a strong willingness to spend significant effort learning
Reg YY and other related reporting regulations (i.e., FR 2052a, FR
Y-14, FR Y-15, etc.) as they will collaborate with a team dedicated
to developing, testing, and executing data for LFI readiness. The
ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a keen eye for
detail, and a passion for working with data.What we are looking
for:
- Development of business requirements specifically required to
support LFI readiness as required by FRB regulations for a Category
IV institution.
- Manage and participate in workshops to flesh out and
problem-solve certain requirements, defects, or questions.
- Provide input into Technology's deliverables to ensure the
Technology's implementation success.
- User Acceptance Testing of Technology's development before
implementation into production.
- Understand the Federal Reserve's FR 2052a, FR Y-14, and FR Y-15
rules and to reflect changes in the business requirements
documents.
- Develop data visualizations to communicate key metrics and
insights effectively.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all reports delivered to
internal stakeholders.
- Regularly update and optimize existing reporting processes to
ensure accuracy, efficiency, and relevance.
- Perform analysis on datasets to identify trends, insights, and
areas for improvement.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing data
validation and regular quality checks.
- Partner with teams across the business to gather data
requirements and understand their analytical needs.
- Maintain documentation of reporting processes and
methodologies.What you need to have:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration,
Technology, or another related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in reporting, data analysis, or a
similar role.
- Strong willingness to spend significant effort learning Reg YY
and other related regulations (e.g. FR 2052a, FR Y-14, FR
Y-15).
- Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel) and data
visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Proficient in handling and interpreting large datasets.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team
environment.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and
